An Alta admin enables Zapier from the App Marketplace; Communal provides the membership, booking, and volunteer triggers on the other side of the Zap.
Three common ones: (1) A new family joins on your Communal join page and a Zap immediately creates their Alta user so the pool door works on their phone. (2) A renter books the gymnasium for Saturday 10–noon; when you approve the booking, Zapier sends them an Alta Guest Access Link limited to that window. (3) A volunteer signs up for Thursday setup; a time-bound Guest Access Link is issued and auto-expires after the shift.
Yes—Avigilon publishes an Alta + Skedda recipe for coworking and room booking that uses Zapier to hand off booking data to Alta. Communal uses the same Zapier pattern but with our facility rental, membership, and volunteer triggers instead of Skedda.
